Colocasia ‘Black Stem’ is a spectacular plant. Its giant purplish black stems can rise up to 7’ in height. The leaves are giant, deep olive green and heart shaped with a shiny, metallic or coppery sheen. Hardy, and one of the most reliable performers.

In late summer, the plant produces wonderful yellow aroid type flowers with a fragrance of papayas.
